This is a standalone short story that can be read alone but will be much more enjoyable if you continue the adventure in books 1 an 2.

This story was just okay. It needed much more work in character development, feasibility studies and better proofing and formatting. But it wasn't a horrible read. I've enjoyed other books by this author and enjoyed them quite a bit, but this one the premise was wayyy out there and the book seemed like it was rushed to production. There were typos and grammatical errors that detracted from the flow of the story and quite frankly, editing doesn't take that long- next time it should be editing properly and that will make it a much better read. I'll definitely pick up the follow up to this, just to see if the author is able to pull this storyline together more believably in that book.Product details

It was ok but short nothing suspenseful about the story.
Really different book. Good to see her change so much. It would be different to live that way. I enjoyed it and recommend it. It really does sound like a peaceful and beautiful place to be.
I honestly dont know if we all read the same book. I wonder why this got 4-5 stars? It had editing errors. Not too many but a few that was noticeable. Then there was the dislike of Jessica's character. She was a gold digger and so very selfish. Not to mention how bratty she was. Wanted what she wanted regardless of the lives she was putting at stake for her selfishness of all things materialistic. I mean damn Rob had a wife and kids and SHE DID NOT CARE! Even if she changed a bit. Not enough for me to believe her though. She ultimately admitted Tomeo's love and caring nature wasn't enough for her. Yeah she came back...but honestly why? Sure she was carrying his baby, but I dont know if she truly changed. Nope...dont believe her. Liking characters is a big thing for me. It takes something pretty drastic for me to hate them. Oh...I hated her guts lol. Whats with the weird sex scene ritual? Thats not exactly explained as to why its practiced. Not only that it included Female on Female a bit and should be included in the warning and its not. If I had an issue with that sort of thing I would so get a surprise! Tomeo's character just didnt seem all that alpha to me. I mean he was big but seriously like a kitty cat. He was sweet and just too docile for him to be a leader. Just couldnt see it...BUT...I didnt hate his character I liked him. Sorry...just not for me. The story is a great idea...just didnt deliver for me and I can't recommend the read.
I received this as an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I enjoyed reading this short story. It may be a quick read but that doesn't take anything away from the power of description of character dynamic and chemistry. Not to mention that drama regardless where you are that is engrained in females mind, primitive or not. Jealousy is still jealousy and makes you do crazy things. If you need a quick shifter book than this will fill those criterial.
This is a quick read, it could have used some more character development. That being said I found the h to be somewhat self centered, and could not warm up to her. The H had more potential, but his character needed a bit more "fleshing out". The story continues in subsequent books.
